About
As a lifelong marketing person, I have worked in nearly every area of marketing, although over the past several years I’ve found my niche area: writing about information technology. My days are filled with constructing papers of every kind on information governance, eDiscovery, records management, and the ins and outs of enterprise content management. The format is entirely fluid, and I’ve written everything from articles for publication to press releases to white papers to advertisements. If it requires words for a business communication, I’m there.
In 1989, I began my tech career at PC DOCS. My next foray into tech involved a move to California to join Cardiff Software. From Cardiff, I worked for American Express and got a taste of financial services in their student loan division, which then exited the market. Over the past 20+ years in marketing, I have consistently loved the task of messaging and positioning. I see the big picture side of things and enjoy crafting language that speaks to business leaders and those who must make decisions about their information.
A few work samples can be found on my website, and I welcome feedback on this blog, writing in general, or invitations to partner on projects with other freelancers!
